The breakfast was not great.
We were given an upgrade on arrival which was wonderful.
Venice is expensive, so you pay a lot for rather worn looking ey were clean and everything worked, but our apartment wasn't exactly aesthetically inspiring.We took the Vaporetto from the airport, which dropped us off at Sans Stae and it was a 5 minute walk to Al Duca.These savings went to the purchase of a real Venetian mask, so all and all our stay was very succesful here.Staying in this hotel makes you feel like royalty!Not enough room in the shower to wash your feet.But, the vaporetti in Summer machines a sous gratuites 7 red are hot crowded, so needing to take those to get TO tourist locations is a drag.The hotel is conveniently situated although without a map it would possibly be difficult to find going down all the calles.Poor water pressure and temperature in the shower.Stayed in the appartment - excellent position - easy access to local aminities and the water bus.Friendly staff with good understanding of English.They were also very knowledgeable and helpful when it came to directions and further travel information.Breakfast buffet was nothing special.The free breakfast was great too!Small intimate hotel with lots of charm.Like most Italian hotels, no coffee making facilities in the room.A lot of attention to detail.The rooms are large enough, comparing with most of the Venetian Hotels, the interior designs.awesome.The traditional Breakfast was more than adequate.Ideal, quiet location, easy to find, away from hustle and bustle of tourists but close to all High quality restaurants, water taxis and attractions.
This one is very good, but the place is not very romantic.
Amazingly authentic building, architecture, features, decor, furniture and ambience.
